Mount Colah Football Club is looking for expressions of interest to coach our Skills Acquisition Program (SAP) age groups; U8 to U11. Coaches will need to gain a C-License to be eligible and will be mentored through this by our Technical Director: Robbie Hooker.

Background Info

The C Licence is the start of the Advanced coaching pathway approved and accredited by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the Football Federation Australia (FFA). It forms a small part of developing a coaches football knowledge and ability to teach and coach effectively especially for young players but also for senior players.

A C Licence coach will be able to coach in the Mount Colah SAP Program and Mount Colah Super League or at NPL (Tigers) SAP and Youth Teams.

You need to be 18 years of age to enrol on a C Licence course.

The normal course is a 7 day course spread over a 1-3 month period depending on the course structure. Once you complete the course a candidate will have 2 years to be deemed competent (coaching assessment) for the C Licence accreditation. The accreditation last 3 years and can be re-validated by attending workshops and seminars or other approved Continuing Professional Development opportunities.
