Please take this as notice that Mount Colah Football Club will be holding its 2019 Annual General Meeting on Monday 9th December, 7.30pm in the Mount Colah Public School Library.

All committee positions will be declared vacant at the AGM. We are actively searching for many roles to be filled. If you are interested, please refer to the Position Descriptions on the Club website – https://mountcolahcolts.com/volunteers/

Please note the Club can only operate when we have contributions from many volunteers. Expecting significant contributions from a small number of volunteers, limits the clubs ability to operate efficiently.

Life memberships are also considered at our AGM. If there is someone who has made a significant contribution over many years who you would like to nominate to be a life member of the club please send the nomination with supporting statement to by 5pm, Friday 6th December 2019.

At this AGM, the following resolution will be proposed as a special resolution:
Special Resolution: Updated Constitution “That Mount Colah Football Club Incorporated adopt an updated Constitution in the form circulated with the notice of meeting.”

Note: To be passed, it requires at least three-quarters of such members of the Club as, being entitled under the current rules so to do, vote in person at a general meeting of which at least 21 days’ written notice specifying the intention to propose the resolution as a special resolution was given. A special resolution to change the constitution will only take effect once it has been approved by the Registrar of Incorporated Associations and a form must be lodged with NSW Fair Trading within 28 days of the special resolution to make a change to the constitution being passed.

The Management Committee unanimously believes that an update to the constitution is required to bring it into line with the latest model rules provided by NSW Fair Trading.
