The girls excelled in 2022 with Galaxy fielding its first top division Diamond League team backed up with a girls development program led and created by NSFA’s XLR8 Development and NSFA’s new Female Football Development Officer, Kristi Murphy. In 2023 girls development expands with more Diamond League teams and the Shooting Stars development program for the competition G12 to G18 age groups.
