Absolute Self Defence was created out of a strong passion, a shared vision and a ceaseless commitment to making martial arts learning easy and accessible in a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment.
Since 2018, we’ve had the opportunity to help countless students acquire self defence skills, develop safety awareness and improve health, fitness, well-being, confidence, balance and coordination. For younger students we focus on school preparation with emphasis on gross motor skills and core strength development, social skills and self-regulation/control. The benefits of training consistently helps obtain maximum benefits and build muscle memory of all techniques and skills for life.
We offer our classes all year around, at our full time Dojang in Mt Kuring-Gai, as part of our commitment to our students. We offer classes to children, teenagers and adults.
Absolute Self Defence focuses on teaching a martial art style also known as the complete art of self defence – Kwan Nyom Hapkido – as a proud member of the International Hapkido Alliance (IHA) and Australian Hapkido group under the leadership of Grandmaster Geoff Booth.
