Registration for the 2025 season is now Open

Get in early as Juniors & MiniRoos early bird ($20 off) is open until 21/2 & Seniors until 7/2!

Football Australia has moved to a new Registration Platform so there are some important changes you will need to know.

Participants will need to claim their account on the new Play Football registration platform.

Please ensure you claim your existing account and only create an account if you’re new to football, as we want to avoid creating duplicate accounts.

Tip: We advise that participants only input the mandatory fields when searching for their account: First Name, Last Name, DOB. If someone can’t find their account but they have previously registered, please contact Play Football Support who will be able to help participants claim their account.

Age Eligibility

You can confirm your age eligibility by checking the NSFA Age Eligibility table.

Key Dates:

Seniors: The Club needs to advise NSFA by 7 February of all our Senior Teams by this date. Please register early so we can form teams and advise on time.

Juniors (U12-U18): The Club needs to advise NSFA by 21 February of all our Junior Teams by this date. Please register early so we can form teams and advise on time.

MiniRoos & Sapphires (U6-U11) : The Club needs to advise NSFA by 14 March of all our MiniRoos & Sapphires Teams by this date. Please register early so we can form teams and advise on time.

What’s included in your registration fees?

MiniRoos & Sapphires:

• Volunteer Coach running one training session per week and Game Day during the competition season
• Kano Football Coach attending 8 training sessions throughout the season (approximately half of all training sessions) with the support of the volunteer coach
• 2 weeks of preseason training once a week with Kano and volunteer coach
• Playing jersey to be worn on game days and returned to the Club at the end of season
• Each new U6 or U7 player to the Club will receive a training shirt, a pair of shorts and a pair of socks

Juniors:

• Volunteer Coach running one training session per week and Game Day during the competition season
• Support from XLR8 with coaching
• Preseason training 
• Playing jersey to be worn on game days and returned to the Club at the end of season

Seniors:

• Volunteer Coach running one training session per week and Game Day during the competition season
• Preseason Training 
• Playing jersey to be worn on game days and returned to the Club at the end of season

Junior Development League:

• Kano Football Coach delivering two training sessions per week and Game Day during the competition season with the support of a volunteer coach
• Preseason training twice a week from February
• Each JDL player will receive a Deploy Football to keep at the end of the season
• Playing jersey to be worn on game days and returned to the Club at the end of season
• Each JDL player will receive a training shirt, a pair of shorts and a pair of socks to keep

How are the fees broken down?

Club Fees cover:

• NSFA facilities levy of $33 per player
• Player portion of NSFA Team Fee
• Grounds Hire
• Kano/XLR8 Coaching if applicable
• Contribution towards the running cost of the Club. For example, the Club has annual costs for advertising, tech systems, Club strip, running costs and equipment that needs to be covered

The Football Australia Fee and The NSW Football Fee are now paid directly to these organisations through the registration process in Play Football. The NSW Football Fee covers the player’s insurance. 

Other information:

• Each Team will be rostered on Grounds Duty
• Each Team will be rostered on for Canteen Duty
• Each Team is required to have a volunteer coach
• Each Team is required to have a volunteer team manager
• Each Senior Men’s Team is required to have 1 NSFA Referee
