Junior Player Registration – 2023

This page will provide you with the information and links to register to play football for Mount Colah Football Club this Season.

Registration payments will only be accepted online at the time of registration.

Junior Players who register before Friday 24th February will receive an early bird discount.

All players wanting to play this season are encouraged to register by Friday 24th February. Registrations after this date can only be accepted if there are available places in our teams. NSFA requires all clubs in the association to submit their junior team nominations from the 27th February.

Registration Guide

• Parent or Guardian? Please ensure the Football Account is created in your name not the name of your child or dependant. Once you have created your Football Account you will be able to register any child or dependant.
• Email Address – in order to match any previous player records, please register with the same email address that you used last year (if possible). You will be able to change your email address later if required.
• Active Kids Voucher – Remember to enter your Active Kids Voucher at the payment screen

Active Kids Voucher (AKV) Program

Active Kids is a NSW Government program to help NSW families meet the cost of getting their kids into sport and active fitness and recreation activities.

The NSW Government will provide a $100 voucher to parents/guardians of school enrolled children. The $100 voucher can be used for registration and participation costs for sport and fitness activities. Every child (4.5 – 18 years’ old) enrolled in school from Kindergarten to Year 12 will be eligible for an Active Kids Voucher. The $100 Voucher is available via the Service NSW website.

Parents/guardians will be able to enter a $100 Active Kids Voucher Code directly on the registration website at the payment screen. The registration system will automatically check the validity of Active Kids voucher code and where approved, the invoice will automatically reduce the fee by $100.

Note: Active Kids Vouchers will only be able to be used via the online self-registration portal.

Additional Player Registration Requests

Additional registration applications can be submitted for the following:

Family Discount – Available to families with 3 or more registered players residing in the same household. Eligible family discount amounts will be reimbursed as a rebate after all registrations are complete and online payments received.

Availability to Play in a Second Team – For players who are interested to play in a 2nd competition team (eg: Girl’s G12 and Mixed U12). Note: second team allocations are only approved if there is available space in the team.

Football NSW Insurance Programme

Read the Football NSW Insurance details, including claim form are available on the insurance programme website.
This is for your information only, there is nothing to return to MCFC.

Registration Payment

This season registration payments will only be accepted online at the time of registration. Registration payments must be made via the PlayFootball Registration Portal.  PlayFootball accepts both credit card and debit card payments.

For players wanting flexible payment options we recommend you contact your bank or financial institution as most now offer “buy now pay later” options. We recommend that you contact your bank or financial institution for financial advice.

2023 Player Registration Fees

This includes fees charged by Football Australia, Football NSW and Northern Suburbs Football Association

Any registrations after this date will be required to pay the full registration fee and will only be accepted if places are still available in the teams.

An Active Kids Voucher can be applied to any of the junior registrations below. Only one Active Kids Voucher can be applied per registration.

MiniRoos, Sapphires, Junior Mixed and Junior Girls

Mount Colah Football Club offers a range of low cost high value packages for kids.

Mount Colah Football Club highly recommends the use of Active Kids Vouchers (AKV) to reduce your child’s sporting costs.

Your registration fee includes costs such as registering your team to play in the respective NSFA competition, ground fees, player insurance and playing shirt which is returned to MCFC at the end of the season. It typically does not cover costs such as training shirt, shorts, socks and shin pads.

15% discount on fees available on application for families of 3 or more players (conditions apply).  Please complete the form in the “Additional Player Registration Requests” above.

• U6-U11 and G6-G11 registration includes free pre-season Soccer Skills Clinic – worth over $50
• New U6&U7 and G6&G7 players get free training shirt, shorts and socks – worth $65

Diamond League

As this is Year 1 for Northern Galaxy Diamond League the base registration will be the same as the Junior Comp – Girls community teams.  This Fee excludes paid coaching, clothing and equipment. We will advise if any of these fees are required once the teams have been established.

MiniRoos and Sapphires Pre-season Skills Development Clinic

Once again, we will be running our highly successful MiniRoo’s and Sapphires Pre-season Skills Development Clinic, presented by Mount Colah Football Club and Kano Football, for our Under 6 to through to Under 11 age groups for both boys and girls.

This season the MiniRoos and Sapphires Skills Clinic will commence on Monday 20th February and will focus pre-season skills training and team formation.

The Pre-season Skills Clinic is open to all eligible players who have registered to play with Mount Colah Football Club in U6 through to U11 age groups and have paid their season registration fees.

No separate sign-up is required to participate.
